Two recipients of the WCM Emerging Leaders Award!

This week, not-for-profit organization WCM announced their 2021 Emerging Leaders Award Recipients. Of the 40 people from 18 Canadian financial institutions, two were from OMERS! We’re proud to share that Sally Kan (a Senior Analyst from our Total Portfolio Management team) and Monica Nettleton (a Senior Analyst from our Global Equities team) have been recognized as two of the recipients, dedicated to the mission of accelerating equity in the finance industry.

This incredible cohort of women are creating opportunities for the next generation in the industry and their communities. You can read more about the initiative and all the recipients here. Well done, Sally and Monica!

The Globe Women’s Collective

At OMERS, the strength of our community is built by our diverse voices and is rooted in a culture of inclusion. That’s why we’re super excited to partner with The Globe and Mail on The Globe Women’s Collective — an exciting initiative that is dedicated to telling the stories of women at work in Canada and the challenges and opportunities they face.

The new online hub will provide knowledge, insight and expertise to inspire and support women in the workforce. And will help support OMERS as we continue to listen, learn and empower our people to share their experiences as we strive to create a fair, equitable and diverse workplace that better represents the communities in which we live and work, and you – the members we serve. We’ll keep you posted!
