Sandra
City of Toronto | 29 years
I have worked with the City of Toronto for 33 years.
I am proud to be a part of an eclectic group of HR and IT professionals that consistently find resourceful ways of improving the public service delivery to the residents of the City of Toronto.
I love my yoga practice, reading, travelling and spending time with my family.
I believe it is very important to remain active in retirement – physically, emotionally and spiritually, and to pursue activities that make a positive impact in other people's lives. It is reassuring to have the financial support of my pension, which will allow me to explore other aspects of my life.
In retirement, I look forward to pursuing creative ventures that allow me to combine my professional and life experience while producing positive results in my community and the world.
Social Value of the Plan
The OMERS defined benefit plan isn’t just important to our members. Research confirms that the OMERS Plan generates social and economic value for communities in Ontario, underscoring the importance of preserving OMERS as a defined benefit pension plan.
