Update from Dr. Aw
October 15, 2021
Picky eating is a very common feature of childhood as children learn what textures and types of food they like. For many, picky eating is a habit that can continue right into adulthood.
Dr. James Aw, our Chief Medical Officer, has spoken to dietitian Alexandra Bhathal, about how children and adults can develop healthy eating habits and learn to love different types of food. You can watch the video below.
For children, parents might be interested in exploring the Ellyn Satter Institute website and also take a look at their resource on the "Division of Responsibility in Feeding" which can help reduce picky eating and foster healthier habits over time.
For adults, Precision Nutrition has this very practical infographic and article, titled "What to Do If You Don't Like Vegetables".
