Together, OMERS employees gave 5,800+ hours back to their communities in 2025

OMERS members dedicate their careers to serving and improving our communities; in doing so, they inspire OMERS employees to do the same.
Throughout 2025, these employees collectively volunteered more than 5,800 hours to strengthen neighbourhoods and create opportunities for people to thrive. From rolling up their sleeves for Earth Week, to joining giving initiatives like Holiday Helpers, and through countless team and Employee Resource Group-led activities, from Toronto to Singapore to Sydney, they showed up with energy and heart for causes that matter.
Here are just a few of the initiatives the team took on this year in service of their communities:
Packed and sorted food for families at local food banks.
Supported outreach programs and seasonal food and clothing drives.
Cleaned up parks, planted trees and maintained green spaces.
Refreshed community centres to facilitate neighbours’ access to vital programs.
