In honour of Constable Hong

Like so many, we are saddened by the sudden and tragic death of Constable Andrew Hong of the Toronto Police Service, who was senselessly killed in the line of duty yesterday.
A 22-year veteran of the Toronto Police Service, Constable Hong was a member of the OMERS pension plan and a member of the OMERS family, and we are mourning his loss with heavy hearts for his wife, two children, parents and colleagues at the Toronto Police Service.
Constable Hong’s death is a reminder of the heroic lives many of our Plan members lead, working on the front lines to ensure the safety of our communities.
