
President and CEO, Oxford Properties Group
Eric Plesman is President and CEO of Oxford Properties Group, a leading global real estate investor, developer and manager, and is the Global Head of Real Estate for the OMERS pension plan. Eric is Chair of Oxford’s Executive Committee and Investment Committee, responsible for the overall strategic direction of the company’s global team and its $80 billion business. Eric also sits as a voting member of the OMERS Transaction Approval Committee for major private market investments.
A highly respected leader in global real estate with a career spanning Toronto, New York, London, and Amsterdam, Eric began his career at Morgan Stanley, where he spent over a decade in progressively senior roles. He joined Oxford Properties in 2011, advancing to become Executive Vice President, North America in 2019, Oxford’s largest geography by AUM and personnel. Following his tenure at Oxford, Eric served as Head of Global Real Estate at HOOPP, leading a multi-continent business across North America, Europe, and Asia. In 2025, he returned to Oxford as its President and CEO.
Eric also serves as a Board Director at the Greater Toronto Airport Authority, overseeing operations at Canada’s largest airport, and as Chair of the Institutional Investor Council at the Pension Real Estate Association (PREA), advocating for global institutional investors.
Eric is based in Toronto, Ontario, and is a graduate of the Ivey Business School of Western University.
