Executive Vice President and Global Head of Infrastructure
Annesley is Executive Vice President and Global Head of Infrastructure. Her mandate includes the leadership, strategic direction and performance of the global OMERS Infrastructure team and portfolio. Annesley joined the OMERS Infrastructure investment team in 2012 and played a leadership role in managing investments across energy, transportation and social infrastructure sectors to deliver long-term value for the OMERS pension fund. More recently, Annesley was the Chief Pension Officer, responsible for a team that provides all front-line service to OMERS 500,000 pension plan members and 1,000 employers across Ontario. Annesley currently serves on the Boards of Bruce Power, Infrastructure Ontario and the Toronto Region Board of Trade.
Prior to joining OMERS, Annesley was Vice-President, Operations at SNC-Lavalin, Annesley was responsible for engineering, procurement, project controls and project management for the Energy and Infrastructure business, which executes work in multiple sectors including power, industrial, chemicals and petroleum and renewable energy. Prior to that role she was the Director of Strategy & Special Projects for SNC-Lavalin's Global Power group, bringing extensive experience in multiple sectors including nuclear and thermal power, transmission & distribution, industrial and renewable energy.
Annesley holds a Bachelor of Science (Mechanical Engineering) degree and a Master of Science (Mechanical and Materials Engineering) degree from Queen's University, as well as a Master of Business Administration degree from the Schulich School of Business at York University. She is also a registered Professional Engineer in Ontario and a former recipient of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40.
