Woven Together: A film about wellness at work

JENNIFER: OMERS has a lot of events that hit a lot of different employee groups and different interests. This year I participated in the Sporting Life 10-K. I am not a regular runner, so running a 10-K was definitely a bit of a challenge for me. Even though life is busy, it's worth participating in these because I find it to be really stress relieving, but it also gives you the perspective that you can take on a challenge and then maybe try something new. And in doing so, a great opportunity to meet your colleagues, get to know them, and kind of have that shared experience. OMERS really puts actions behind their values that they project. It's good to see that they support not only me, but these causes that are in the community.

KRISTINA: OMERS is definitely very inclusive. We strive to do the best that we can, and we try to have as much fun as we can as well. Every month, we put together a different celebration. We've done Lunar New Year, we did Eid, Holi which is the Indian Spring Festival. We had a lot of fun with paints and streamers. It's been received very positively. People have actually thanked us for putting these on because they have felt that they're more embraced.
