As a result of the security preparations taking place to ready the downtown Toronto area for the G20 Summit on June 26 and 27, 2010, OMERS employees will not be working at the head office at One University in Toronto on June 24 and 25.

OMERS commitment to pay benefits includes finding members with unclaimed benefits as well as ensuring our member information is accurate and complete. We have recently obtained the services of the National Search Unit (NSU) of Service Canada to help locate members who are no longer working for an OMERS employer but still have a benefit in the plan.
Life keeps getting busier and the need for information at members' fingertips was a driving force behind the launch of myOMERS, the new site that provides online member access. Registrations are over 10,000 since the site launched in December, and the overall response has been glowing based on recent survey results.
