For Retired and Deferred Members: AVC information sessions for Retired Members

The AVC option is a retirement savings and investment opportunity available exclusively to OMERS members. An AVC account is similar to the features of a registered retirement savings plan (RRSP), but with the benefit of OMERS investment expertise.

If you'd like to learn more about how to optimize your retirement savings, and chat with OMERS knowledgeable staff, register for this information session.
Topics include:

  • How the AVC option allows participation in the OMERS Fund at cost
  • How it is similar to an RRSP
  • How the AVC option is exclusive to OMERS members
  • How buying back service can increase the amount of your pension and may help you retire sooner

Sessions run from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and are offered free of charge. Travel or accommodation costs are up to you. Seating is limited , so please register early.
