He leads an experienced, talented and dedicated private equity team with backgrounds in operations management, financial analyses and accounting, investment banking and law.
Before that, Mr. Renaud was OMERS Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He successfully transformed the role of CFO to that of an active participant in setting the strategic direction and evaluating investment decisions across all investment businesses. He has instituted several processes to improve the operational efficiency and financial reporting within the Finance and Administration function.
Mr. Renaud spent 13 years as CFO of CAE, a global supplier of simulation and training products and services operating in more than 15 countries. Mr. Renaud's responsibilities included financial reporting, strategy and risk management, and merger and acquisition (M&A) activities. During his career at CAE, he led more than 25 M&A transactions.
