OMERS employees around the world take sincere pride in serving the people who serve our communities.
With that spirit in mind, we were thrilled when MLSE and the Toronto Maple Leafs, in partnership with Toronto Fire, Toronto Police and Toronto Paramedic Services marked the annual First Responders Awareness Night game on Friday night. It’s a wonderful initiative that celebrates the amazing work that emergency services do every day, made even more poignant this year given the role that first responders have played during COVID. It was a proud and emotional moment on Friday when members of Toronto’s fire, police and paramedic services were recognized for their work.
On behalf of everyone at OMERS, thank you – to our first responders, and to all members who keep us safe, keep us moving, and keep our communities connected while we are apart.
