Protecting and ensuring the accuracy of our members' personal information is important to us. Beginning on Monday, April 21, 2014, OMERS will reach out to about 1600 members to verify the accuracy of the address information we have on file and to ensure they have received their latest Pension Report.
To allow us to communicate directly with members, provide more choices and online options, OMERS now collects and maintains member contact information. Previously, we relied on employers to collect and maintain this information for us. Over the past months, we have put a number of measures in place to protect and verify member contact information – this telephone survey is one such measure.
If you are an OMERS member, you can update your mailing, email and telephone number online at myOMERS. This will enable us to keep you in the loop with news and information about your pension.
