To support this commitment, the Board implemented an Ethics Hotline for our employees as part of Code of Conduct and Ethics.
The Ethics Hotline establishes another communication channel for employees to report concerns in a safe, non-confrontational, and anonymous means through an arrangement with an independent third party.
This reporting system is not intended to replace the normal reporting channels or methods that employees have traditionally used to communicate within OMERS.
The program is being co-ordinated through an Oversight Committee that reports directly to the Board through the Audit and Actuarial Committee.
