Laurie Nancekivell was appointed to the OMERS AC Board in 2009 and is the Vice Chair of the Governance Committee. She also serves on the Member Services and Investment Committees.
Laurie has worked for the Children's Aid Society of London and Middlesex for more than 10 years and is currently a Kinship Family Support Worker working with children who are placed with an approved family and/or friends instead of being brought into the care of the society. Laurie supports these caregivers in maintaining this placement by, among other things, assisting with behaviour management techniques and accessing community supports.
