Rick A.J. Miller
Rick served as Chair of the OMERS Board in 2002 and as a member of the Executive Committee from 2000 through 2003. He also served as the Chair of the Investment Committee in 2004 and 2005, followed by three years as the Vice Chair. He is currently the Chair of the Leadership Resources and Compensation Committee and also a member of the Governance and Investment Committees. During his tenure, Rick has served on all the various committees of the Board including the Pension Committee, Audit Committee and Appeals Sub-Committee.
Rick is a Captain in the Windsor Fire and Rescue Services. He has been a member of the Ontario Professional Fire Fighters Association Pension Committee since 1993 and served several years in the capacity as Chairman. He has also served as a member of several committees in the Windsor Fire and Rescue Services and Windsor Professional Fire Fighters Association.
Rick received his chartered director designation from The Directors College in 2004 and graduated from the Human Resources Executive Compensation program at The Directors College in 2009. He has also participated in many other courses/programs specializing in audit, governance, financing and negotiations.
Rick has served on other boards such as the Windsor City Centre Credit Union.
