Transferring your OMERS pension
OMERS has formal “reciprocal transfer agreements” with a number of Canadian public sector pension plans. You may be able to transfer some or all of your OMERS credited service from OMERS to another employer's plan, if that plan will accept the transfer.
If you will be working for any of these employers, inform them about your service in the OMERS plan.

Therefore, if you have worked for any of these employers or you have been a member of any other Canadian registered pension plan in the past, inform your OMERS employer about your past service. You may be able to transfer some or all of this service into OMERS.
