Annual Reporting (Form 119)
The administration of the OMERS plan is a partnership between OMERS and employers. Employers are responsible for the annual reporting of member information through the Form 119 process. Once Form 119 data is submitted, OMERS audits the data, updates member records, produces Pension Reports and ultimately pays benefits based on the data reported.
Timely and accurate Form 119 reporting is essential to provide members with excellent customer service, including prompt access to up-to-date information about their pension benefits.

Using e-access helps you quickly and easily report and process your annual member information. This, in turn, will help get Pension Reports to our members faster than ever before.
The employer:
- Imports/inputs, then edits Form 119 data (input file specifications are in e-access Help)
- Submits the data to OMERS (if before mid-February, OMERS will calculate the PAs)
- Resolves any data exceptions (problems)
- Revises the submitted data if needed
- Checks e-Form 119 progress using the “Dashboard,” and requests Pension Reports
- Balances contributions
- Reconciles the e-Form 119
OMERS produces the summary Form 119 Basic and RCA Reconciliation report.

Form 119 (manual paper-based reporting)
Employers not registered for e-access will receive a paper Form 119 report.
The employer:
- Checks the preprinted information.
- Writes each member's annual data on the report and enters the totals at the end of the report.
- Adds any additional information in the Comments section.
- Balances the PA total to the T4 Summary Page and the contribution total to the Annual Statement of Contributions EMC104.
- Returns the Form 119 and supporting documents to OMERS by the deadline.

Reporting deadline
The deadline for submitting the Form 119 to OMERS (regardless of reporting method) is March 31st.
