Michael Nobrega
President & CEO
OMERS

Michael Nobrega was appointed President and CEO of OMERS, effective March 12, 2007. He also serves as Chief Investment Officer.

Just prior to the OMERS appointment, Michael was the President and CEO of Borealis Infrastructure, which he launched in 1998.

Michael was a former president of a merchant bank and partner at an international accounting firm. Michael has an Honours B.A. (Economics and Mathematics), University of Toronto and is a Chartered Accountant.

John Macdonald
Chief Operating Officer

Prior to this appointment, Mr. Macdonald was Executive Vice President for corporate strategy and services at Oxford Properties Group. Prior to this he was Senior Vice President, Investment & Finance with OMERS Realty Management Corp. (previously Hammerson Canada Inc.) and was responsible for a number of areas including investment activities, organizational and strategic management, as well as finance, technology and administrative matters.

Before joining the OMERS group, Mr. Macdonald was with The Cadillac Fairview Corporation Limited as Senior Vice President, Finance and Treasurer.

Patrick Crowley
Chief Financial Officer

Patrick Crowley joined OMERS in December of 2006 and brings a solid combination of strategic and financial leadership skills to OMERS. Prior to joining OMERS, Mr. Crowley was CFO of ATI Technologies Inc. Prior to that he was CFO at Canada Life Financial Corporation, Molson Inc., Abitibi Consolidated Inc., and Everfresh Beverages Inc.

Mr. Crowley is a graduate of the Richard Ivey School of Business and is a Chartered Accountant.

Michael Latimer
President and CEO
Oxford Properties Group

Before joining Oxford, Mr. Latimer was Chief Operating Officer of Borealis Capital Corporation. He is also the Chief Executive Officer of Primaris Retail REIT (PMZ.UN).

Mr. Latimer's corporate career spans both the private and public markets, commencing with the corporate office of George Weston Limited, followed by Nu-West Development Corporation, Canderel Limited, TrizecHahn Limited, and OMERS Realty Corporation. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from McMaster University.

Michael Rolland
President
Borealis Infrastructure

Prior to his appointment as President of Borealis, Mr. Rolland held the position of Senior Vice President at Borealis where he was directly responsible for originating, structuring and managing infrastructure investments. Mr. Rolland developed the unique financing structures for the new William Osler Health Centre in Brampton and the redevelopment of the Royal Ottawa Hospital project. He also directed Borealis’ investment in Extendicare (Canada) and he was the lead on the recent purchase of MDS Diagnostics by Borealis.

Prior to his role with Borealis, Michael Rolland was a Director at NewCap Financial Inc., a private financial advisory firm. He was responsible for leading the corporate and structured financing practice at NewCap. He also spent six years as a Director and senior member of the investment-banking group within one of Canada’s largest non-bank lenders (Newcourt Credit Group Inc. – now known as CIT).

Mr. Rolland holds an Honours Business Administration Degree from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario and is a Chartered Accountant.

Paul G. Renaud
President and CEO
OMERS Capital Partners

Prior to being appointed President and CEO of OCP, Paul was OMERS Chief Financial Officer. He successfully transformed the role of CFO to that of an active participant in setting the strategic direction and evaluating investment decisions across all investment businesses of OMERS and has instituted several processes to improve the operational efficiency and financial reporting within the Finance & Administration function.

Paul spent 13 years as the Chief Financial Officer of CAE, a global supplier of simulation and training products and services operating in over 15 countries. Paul’s responsibilities not only included financial reporting, strategy and risk management, but also merger and acquisition (M & A) activities. During his career at CAE, Paul led or participated in over 25 M & A transactions.

James Donegan
Senior Vice President
Public Investments

James Donegan joined OMERS in 1994 as Senior Analyst External Funds. In 1997 he assumed responsibility for the External Funds Department. In 2006, he was made Vice President, Active Equities and assigned responsibility for all active equity portfolios managed externally and internally at OMERS.

In his new position James will be responsible for overseeing the division and continuing the work of rebalancing OMERS public holdings portfolio. Mr. Donegan is also a member of the OMERS Management Operating Committee and the Transaction Approval Committee.

Prior to joining OMERS he spent nine years working for investment dealers conducting research as an economist and portfolio strategist.

James received his BA (Economics) from Carleton University and his MA (Economics) from the University of Toronto. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the CFA Institute and the Toronto CFA Society.

Jennifer Brown
Senior Vice President
Pension Division

Jennifer Brown joined OMERS in July 2001 and was appointed Senior Vice President Pensions in December 2005. Jennifer has 20 years of pension administration and policy experience across the public, private and broader public sectors.

Gord Brandt
Senior Vice President
Human Resources

Gord Brandt joined OMERS in September, 2007 as Senior Vice President, Human Resources.

Prior to joining OMERS, Mr. Brandt was the Senior Vice President & Director, Human Resources at Rockwater Capital Corporation. A practiced HR executive, Gord has a range of experience to his credit including the position of Senior Vice President, Head of Human Resources at BMO Nesbitt Burns. He has held progressively more responsible positions in the investment management, banking, telecommunications and retail food industries.

Mr. Brandt graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Arts from Ryerson and received his CHRP designation from the Human Resources Professional Association of Ontario.
